Welcome all coaches, participants and fans to the Peoria Sports Complex Adult Baseball Program. This program is based on the philosophy of fun and exercise for all individuals involved. We hope that you will enjoy your baseball experience in our program, just as we are looking forward to cooperating and communicating with you throughout the season. Our staff would like to wish you the best of luck for the upcoming season.

The City only accepts team registrations.  Each division has a maximum occupancy of 8 teams. All players must be at least 18 years old by the start of the season to participate. Please refer to the Registration section for more detailed information.

Seasons

There are two seasons in our Adult Baseball Program - Spring and Summer/Fall. The Spring Season is played early April-June and the Summer/Fall season is played early August-October.  Registrations for these seasons are in March and July respectively.

League Format

Leagues are offered on Saturdays (A or B divisions) or Sundays (B division only).

Double headers will be played once a week for a total of 10 regular season games followed by a post-season, single elimination tournament.

Games are held in the morning and will consist of 7 innings or 2 hours and 15 minutes, whichever comes first.

Division Criteria & Skill Level Guidelines
The league divisions are no longer restricted by age. Players and teams may evaluate their skill level and submit to play in either division. Final determination of a team's division assignment will reside with the League Supervisors. All divisions are open to players of any age (over 18).

"A" Division:  Teams have adult players of any age and is considered a higher competitive level. This division plays on either Saturday or Sunday.

"B" Division:  Teams have adult players of any age and ability level.  This division plays on Sunday.

League Regulations/Game Play

All league rules are governed and interpreted by the league coordinator and/or umpires, using City of Peoria league rules and the current National Baseball Federation High School Rule Book. General rules of play not outlined here can be found in the current National Baseball Federation High School Rule Book.

Free Agents

The City only accepts team registrations. However, we do maintain a list of individuals that are trying to catch on with a team. We do not assign players to teams, but this list is made available to coaches looking for players (when requested). Teams are only able to modify their rosters up until their 4th game of the season.

To be placed on this list, email your name, contact number, position(s) played and desired division (Saturday "A,"  Sunday "A" or Sunday "B") to sportscomplex@peoriaaz.gov or call 623-773-8700. Your information will remain on the list for one year.
