2008 Peoria Summer Camp
May 23 - August 1

6:30 am - 6:00pm

Schools out! That means it is time for summer fun and excitement at Peoria Summer Camp (PSC). This program is designed as an attractive alternative for working parents in need of childcare during the summer months and is open to residents and non-residents!   PSC offers a secure environment with plenty of exciting activities for the kid to enjoy.  

AM/PM Continuing Participants:  Complete the registration form and pay first and last weeks fees before 5pm May 16(6pm at AM/PM school site) and pay only a $10 registration fee.

Arizona Department of Health Services (DHS) licenses all sites and Department of Economic Security (DES) funding is available for qualified participants.

Desert Harbor: 15585 N. 91st Ave.

***These sites will host a maximum of 300 participants each
**These sites will provide free breakfast and lunch.  (breakfast served 7:45am - 8:15am)
All other sites will receive free breakfast only. (served 7:15 am - 7:45 am)

Registration:
A completed summer Camp Registration form is required for enrollment. Registration forms are available at Community Services 9875 N. 85th Ave, at all Camp sites beginning March 31. Forms are available on-line now.  Registration for Summer Camp is not available on-line as original signatures are required.   

Registration Fee:
A $30 non-refundable registration fee is required for all participants at the time of enrollment. This includes a Peoria Summer Camp T-shirt.

Participation Fees:

Full-time: $97/Week Includes all fieldtrips and Friday Lunch

Part-time: $23/Day Includes any fieldtrips and Friday lunch

Summer School Participants: $15 per day  (this fee is available for children registered and attending Peoria Unified School District Summer School)  For days the child is not attending summer school, the fee is $23.

*Participation fees are due the Monday of the week of participation.

Fees for 1st and last week (plus registration fee) are due at time of enrollment

  MULTI-CHILD DISCOUNTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE

Lunch and Snacks:

This year, the Summer Camp program is offering lunch packages.   You may choose from the following options:

  • 4 days/week = $90.00
  • 3 days/week = $67.50
  • 2 days/week = $45.00
  • Daily fee = $5

Package deals are valid for the entire 11 week Summer Camp Program. Friday lunches are included in your daily participation fee. Participants who choose not to use the hot lunch program must bring a non-perishable lunch and a drink each day. Parents will be notified in advance of any all day trips that require a purchase of lunch.

Sign In/ Sign Out:

All authorized persons must sign each child in upon arrival and out when picking up. Please be ready to show your I.D. to staff.

Children MAY NOT sign themselves in or out of the program. Doors will not be opened to participants until 6:30am. All late pick-ups will be assessed a late fee.

Transportation of children to and from the program is the sole responsibility of the parents.
