Community Relations Section
The Community
Relations Section manages crime prevention
and educational programs offered by the Department including the
Citizen's Academy, Crime Free Multi-Housing
Programs, Explorer Post, G.A.I.N. (Getting Arizona
Involved in Neighborhoods) and
Neighborhood Watch,
as well as conducting residential and business
security surveys. This Section is tasked with many
support functions which are vital to the success of
Community Oriented police and the establishment
of partnerships with the citizens of Peoria, in an effort to proactively address crime and related
issues and improve the services offered by the Peoria Police Department. To contact Community

PROGRAM
Bullying and child violence have become quite common themes in every school across the country.
The Peoria Police Department is very concerned about this issue and is currently working with the Peoria Elementary School District to help circumvent these types of behavior.
