Peoria Citizen Satisfaction Survey Wrapping Up
12/4/2009
PEORIA, Ariz. (Dec.
4, 2009) -- Peoria is in the midst of a citizen satisfaction survey to gauge
residents’ opinions on the city’s quality of life and government services. The
five-page National Citizen Survey was mailed to 1,200 randomly selected
residences across the city in early November. Those selected to take the survey
have until the end of December to return it.
“The data we collect
will guide the city in allocating resources to the areas our residents consider
most important,” says Kelly Corsette, Peoria’s public information manager. “So
we’re hoping that each household selected to receive a survey will take a few
minutes to complete and return it.”
A representative of the
National Citizen Survey will present the results to the Peoria City Council
early in 2009, at which time the city will also make the results available to
the public via its Web site. Peoria conducted similar surveys in 2004 and in
2007.
