'Telly Ho' Again for Channel 11
Peoria Government Channel Wins Two More Telly Awards

Videos on low-water-use landscaping and recreation services won two additional Telly Awards for Peoria Channel 11 to display along with the three it earned in 2006 and one from 2005. Telly Awards recognize outstanding local, regional and cable television commercials and programs. Channel 11 won a Silver Telly, the competition’s highest honor, for a video explaining how homeowners can beautify their lawns while conserving water by adopting the principles of low-water-use landscaping, or Xeriscape. The station earned a Bronze Telly for a program spotlighting Peoria’s parks and recreation opportunities.
