PEORIA, Ariz. (Oct.
27, 2009) – Peoria will host a 12-week entrepreneurship program called
“NxLeveL” starting in January 2010.
Offered in partnership
with the Maricopa County Small Business Development Centers (SBDC), the course
will meet from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursdays on the Peoria Municipal Campus,
starting Jan 7.
NxLeveL is an SBDC
signature course designed to provide hands-on, commonsense skills to help people
start and grow businesses. Topics include: planning and research; legal
structures; marketing; managing money; negotiating; and managing growth. The
course will be taught by Ilene Ringler, interim director of the West Valley SBDC
office. The sessions will be interactive and fast paced, including guest
speakers who are experts in many of the topics.
There will be an
information session for people interested in NxLeveL on Tuesday, Nov. 10, from 6
p.m. to 7 p.m. in the City Hall Pine Room. For more information or to register,
