City Extends Deadline to Sign Up for HOA Academy
Interested Community Leaders Have Until Sept. 25 to Register

Peoria's Neighborhood Services Division has extended the period for residents interested in the workings of homeowners’ associations (HOAs) to register for the fall session of its HOA Academy. Participants will learn about conducting open meetings, government statutes and effective communication, among other things. The group meets four consecutive Thursday nights, beginning Oct. 1, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Peoria’s Development and Community Services Building on the northeast corner of 85th Avenue and Mountain View Road.
