Stimulus Funds Make Their Way to Peoria
$160,000 by the 2009 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant

The city of Peoria was recently awarded nearly $160,000 by the 2009 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant. The dollars will be used by the city’s police department to promote community-oriented policing and to purchase upgrades to the crime analysis technology.
