several times a day – and offers on demand through the station’s Web page.
The REC Show is
a roughly 20-minute program that highlights recreational, educational and
cultural opportunities in Peoria. Channel 11 carries this show, hosted by
Elizabeth Eckel, at 7:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., Tuesday through
Sunday. The July edition includes reports on the Hershey’s Track and Field
competition, wallyball at Rio Vista Recreation Center, Peoria aquatics programs
and the Sunrise Mountain Library’s venerable Crazy Times with Madame Patchouli.
Peoria Pulse is
a five-minute community update, hosted by Stew Radawec, that Channel 11 carries
Tuesday through Sunday at 7:50 a.m., 11:50 a.m., 3:20 p.m. and 6:20 p.m. July’s
inaugural episode includes segments on water conservation, recreation at Lake
Pleasant and dog-friendly areas in city parks, as well as updates on road

The new programs join
the station’s Focus TV, a 30-minute newsmagazine hosted by Tess Dumlao,
that debuted in November 2008.
