Small-Business Workshop Shines Light on Stimulus Package

The federal Small Business Administration will host an evening workshop on Thursday, May 14, to discuss the federal stimulus package. “Our goal is to educate Arizona small businesses about opportunities that will exist as a result of the new legislation, and provide information to assist them in coping with the increasing challenge of managing a business in a down economy,” says Robert Blaney, director of the SBA’s Arizona District Office. The two-hour workshop will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Peoria City Council Chamber. It is free, but seating is limited; pre-registration is strongly recommended.
