Fun for Families at Fishing Fiesta

Registration is under way for Peoria’s second-annual Reel Family Fun Fishing event on Sunday, May 17, from 8 a.m. to noon at Rio Vista Community Park. Geared toward families with children, the hands-on clinic will cover rigging tackle, identifying fish and their habitats and learning about good fishing locations in Arizona. Rods, tackle and bait will be provided; no fishing license is required. The $5 per person registration fee covers a continental breakfast.
