PEORIA, Ariz. (March 16, 2009) –
Spring break is fast approaching and parents are lost for inexpensive,
kid-friendly entertainment. Why not plan a fun-filled day at the Peoria Sports
Complex? The complex has several promotions and a “Kids Zone.”
• Mondays: Family 4 Pack – 4 hot
dogs, small sodas, chips, and lawn tickets for $30.
• Wednesdays: $2 Dogs – standard
ball-park hot dogs for $2 each (excludes Ruthian).
• Jason’s Deli Kids Zone: A free
interactive area for kids ages 12 and under. Concession has peanut butter/jelly
or hot dog, small soda, and chips for only $3.50.
• Wiffleball Field: Kids ages 12 and
under can play for free on a 1/3-sized replica of a Major League Baseball
infield.
• Speed Pitch and Home Run Derby:
Kids ages 12 and under can test their pitching and hitting skills in individual
stations. The $1 fee goes to the Peoria Diamond Club to benefit local youth
charities.
Can’t make it out this week to
Peoria? Then come on March 29 for Kids’ Day. There will be inflatable rides,
kids ages 12 and under can run the bases after the game, and other family-fun
activities.
