Planners Reschedule Workshop on Sports Complex Area

City officials have rescheduled a workshop to gain public input on the Peoria Sports Complex Area Urban Design Plan. It will be held on Tuesday, March 10, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Willow Room of Peoria’s Main Library, which is on the southeast corner of 85th Avenue and Monroe St. Attendees will have the opportunity to review and comment on three concepts developed from the public’s feedback and steering committee comments during previous meetings. The plan focuses on the area bounded by the Loop 101, Bell Road, Skunk Creek and the eastern city limits near 75th Avenue.
