Peoria Offers Day Camp for Kids During Spring Break

Peoria’s Recreation Division will offer Spring Break Camp for kids at four locations the week of March 16. The program, aimed at meeting parents’ requests for child care during spring break, will feature arts and crafts, games, sports and field trips. The camps will run from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Cheyenne, Coyote Hills, Parkridge and Sun Valley elementary schools. The cost is $23 a day, which includes the day’s field trip. (A $5 registration fee will be charged for any child not enrolled in the Peoria A.M./P.M. Recreation Program.)
