Navy to Drop In for Spring Training Game

The Peoria Sports Complex will adopt a nautical theme for the Mariners’ Thursday, March 12, Spring Training baseball game against the Rangers. Prior to the 1:05 p.m. contest, the Navy’s Leap Frog parachute team will jump onto the field. There will be a 36-foot submarine out in front of the complex for fans to see, and a Navy recruiter will be there. Tickets for all 2009 Spring Training games are on sale at the sports complex box office, by phone at 800-677-1227 and on the Internet at www.tickets.com. Box office hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. For more information, call the box office at 623-773-8720.
