91st & Northern Intersection Restricted
Closed For Sewer Collapse; Partial Opening Expected by Sunday, Feb. 8

Peoria,
Ariz. (Feb. 6, 2009) – A partial sewer collapse in the intersection at 91st and
Northern avenues has forced a full closure of the intersection through Saturday,
Feb. 7.
Beginning on Sunday morning, Feb. 8, crews expect to open the intersection to
right-turn traffic only. Additional lanes will be opened as repairs progress,
however lane restrictions and closures are expected over the next 10 to 14 days.
Access
to the Target shopping center northwest of that intersection is still available
and will be maintained.
Local
residents and stores can expect to experience noise and some odors through this
time. Work may be expected to occur 24 hours a day, seven days a week until the
work is completed.
