Oldtown Peoria Revitalization Panel to Discuss Plan Update
Second Meeting Scheduled

PEORIA, Ariz. (Jan. 15, 2009) -- The public advisory committee for the Central Peoria Revitalization Plan will hold its second meeting Wednesday, Jan. 28, at 6 p.m. in the City Hall Pine Room. Members of the 28-person panel will discuss an ongoing update to the plan with city officials and a consultant retained for the project. The goal of the update is to establish a framework and strategy for revitalization of historic Oldtown Peoria and the surrounding area. The evening’s discussion will touch on several of the project’s main components, including architecture, project-area districting and circulation. A public workshop regarding the plan is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 25, at 6 p.m. in the same location.
