Rio Vista Hosts Personal Finance Seminar for Teens

Rio Vista Recreation Center and Credit Union West are teaming up to offer a half-day financial fitness seminar for teenagers 14 and older. Participants will learn valuable money-management skills, such as how to spend and save responsibly, how to develop sound credit and how to avoid credit pitfalls. The seminar will be offered Saturday, Jan. 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A pizza lunch is included. The seminar is free, but pre-registration is required by Monday, Dec. 29. Register by calling 623-773-8600. The center is located in Rio Vista Community Park at 8866 W. Thunderbird Road.
