Rec Center Hosts Walk 'Arizona Fitness' Program

Get some exercise and earn prizes in the "Walk Arizona 2009" program held at Rio Vista Recreation Center’s indoor track. This program, which encourages fitness through walking, is sponsored by Banner Health. Orientations will be held at the center at the following times:
-- Monday, Dec. 8 – 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
-- Tuesday, Dec. 9 – 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Walk Arizona 2009 is open to all ages and no pre-registration is required. This program is free to Rio Vista pass holders and SilverSneaker participants. Rio Vista passes can be obtained on a daily, monthly, three-month, six-month or annual basis. The center is located inside Rio Vista Community Park, 8866 W. Thunderbird Road.
