Peoria Seeks Public Input for Second Community Park

The public can view and comment on the proposed design of Peoria’s second community park at two open forums:
• Thursday, Oct. 23, Development and Community Services Building, Point of View Room. The building is on the northeast corner of 85th Avenue and Mountain View Road.
• Tuesday, Oct. 28, Cotton Boll Elementary School, multipurpose room. The school is at 8540 W. Butler Drive.
Both meetings will begin at 7 p.m. The park, which will be on a 80-acre parcel on the southeast corner of 83rd and Olive avenues, could have lighted ball fields, an urban fishing lake, a dog park and a skate court, to name a few potential elements.
