Water Conservation Division Offers Free Landscaping Classes

Register now two free landscaping courses the city will offer in March. “Landscape Watering 101,” led by Peoria Landscape Maintenance Supervisor Eugene Kraus, will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, in the Peoria Main Library’s Willow Room. “Creating a ‘Scentsational’ Garden,” featuring Horticulturist Kirti Mathura from the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, will run from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 22, also in the Willow Room. The Water Conservation Division also invites residents to stop by the City Hall lobby during February to view its display on how much water the average person uses per day. The display includes informational brochures for adults and coloring sheets for kids.
