County Seeks Public Comment on Two Road Projects
Aug. 12 Open House to Cover Truck Route, Deer Valley Plans Near Agua Fria

The Maricopa County Department of Transportation will host an open house from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12, to get public input on on two issues important to residents of western Peoria. The event, in the Social Hall of Unitarian Universalist Church, 17540 N. Avenue of the Arts in Surprise, will cover alternatives for a north-south truck route along the Agua Fria River and possible improvements to Deer Valley Road between Lake Pleasant Parkway and El Mirage Road – including a potential bridge over the Agua Fria. Project team members will be on hand to receive comments.
