Youth Program Includes Events at Rec Center and Beyond

Step OUT Overtime will stage a variety of weekday activities from July 21 through Aug. 1 for students entering the sixth through ninth grades. The program will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and be based at the Rio Vista Recreation center, where participants will enjoy movies, video games, racquetball, rock climbing, basketball, wallyball and arts and crafts. Off-site activities will include trips to movies, bowling, ice skating and swimming -- and the first week will feature a trip to Waterworld. Resident fees are $100 for Week 1 and $85 for Week 2; for non-residents, $120 for Week 1 and $102 for Week 2. The deadline is Thursday, July 17.
