Teens Can Hone Sports Skills in Coed Summer Camps

Peoria’s Recreation Division is offering coed-skills camps in basketball, soccer, softball and volleyball for youths ages 13-17. The camps will focus on skill development and fitness conditioning. They will be led by sports coaches for skills and personal trainers for fitness. There will be three, two-week courses in each sport, starting June 2, June 16 and July 7. Sessions will be Monday through Thursday for two and a half hours at the Rio Vista Recreation Center, 8866 W. Thunderbird Road. Registration is $95 for Peoria residents and $100 for non-residents; deadlines are the Fridays before each course.
