Peoria's New Recreation Center to Host West Valley Leaders

The Rio Vista Recreation Center will host Leadership West’s West Valley Summit: Spotlight on Livability on Friday, April 11, from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will include sessions on several topics related to enhancing the quality of life in the West Valley, with emphasis on education, neighborhood design and transportation. Luncheon speaker Bob Hobbs Jr. will deliver a talk titled “What if You Could Not Fail” -- aimed at inspiring participants to set life-changing goals. Registration is $75 per person ($60 for Leadership West members) or $400 for a table of eight; the deadline is Friday, April 4. To register, visit www.leadershipwest.org or call (623) 435-6722.
