Peoria, Ariz. (March 3, 2008) – The City of
Peoria Economic Development Department and the Small Business Administration
(SBA) are sponsoring a free small-business resource seminar from 6 p.m. to 8
p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, in the Pine Room at Peoria City Hall (8401 W. Monroe
St.).
Writing a good business plan is the evening’s
primary topic. Robert J. Blaney, the SBA district director for Arizona, hopes
budding business owners will leave with an appreciation of the value of a solid
business plan.
“We want people to come away with information and
skills that will improve their chances for success as business owners in
Arizona,” he said.
Economic development officials from Peoria will
provide information about small-business resources available from the city.
Although the event is free, seating
is limited and registration is required. Aspiring businesspeople can register
and get more information via e-mail (Debbie.Pearson@peoriaaz.gov) or by calling
623-773-7735.
