Seniors Encouraged to Join in Spring Fun Walk

Registrations are being taken for the Step into Spring Senior Fun Walk, to be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Feb. 20, at the Peoria Sports Complex. A Wellness Fair will kick off the event, and Arizona Diamondback organist Bobby Freeman will perform until the start of the fun walk at 10 a.m. Following the walk, there will be a lunch on the concourse followed by a door-prize drawing. The registration fee is $15; those who sign up by Feb. 12 will have a T-shirt awaiting them at the event. Folks from outside Peoria are welcome to participate.
