Public Meeting to Explore Happy Valley Road Improvements

Peoria residents are invited to a public meeting from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 19, to learn more about upcoming construction on Happy Valley Road between 67th Avenue and Lake Pleasant Parkway. Happy Valley Road improvements include building the missing segment between Terramar Boulevard and 91st Avenue, installing a landscaped median from Terramar Boulevard to 67th Avenue and making other improvements from 91st Avenue to Lake Pleasant Parkway. The $42 million project will begin in January and open in phases over the next two years. The meeting will be at Liberty High School, 9621 W. Speckled Gecko Drive.
