CD-ROM Offers Options for Low-Water-Use Landscaping
Residents Can Receive Disc Plus Tutorial at Oct. 25 Class
10/17/2007
Peoria’s Water
Resources and Conservation Division is offering a free tutorial on how an
interactive CD-ROM can help residents incorporate water conservation into their
landscaping. During the 6 p.m. session on Thursday, Oct. 25, Water Conservation
Specialist Rhonda Humbles will explain how the “Water-Wise Landscaping in the
Arizona Desert” CD-ROM enables users to search an extensive plant database, tour
Arizona landscapes, explore a garden gallery with hundreds of design ideas and
get tips for landscape design, irrigation and maintenance. Upon completion of
the session, participants will receive the CD-ROM. The class will be held in the
Willow Room of the Peoria Main Library, 8463 W. Monroe St. For more information,
