Class Offers Sweet Scent of Landscaping Success

Residents can learn how to add fragrance to their landscaping during a free class the evening of Thursday, Sept. 27, at the Peoria Main Library, 8463 W. Monroe St. Kirti Mathura, from the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, will explain how to use blooms and/or foliage to create fragrance in an area featuring low-water-use plants, shrubs and trees. The two-hour “Creating a ‘Scentsational’ Garden” class will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the library’s Willow Room. For more information, visit conserve.peoriaaz.gov.
