City staff will host several community meetings to discuss the future of Peoria’s parks, recreation facilities, programs, and more, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on: Wednesday, March 6 at Westbrook Village in the Fine Arts and Learning Center, 18827 N. Country Club Drive; Thursday, March 14 at the Vistancia Mountain Vista Club, 29701 N. Sunrise Point; and Thursday, April 18 at the WestWing Mountain HOA Community Center, 27008 N. High N. In the past, residents have requested additional features and facilities such as pickle ball courts, lighted sports fields and hiking trails, and off-leash dog parks. Suggestions such as these will be gathered and evaluated against others to create a Parks and Recreation Master Plan.
