83rd Avenue Closed for Block Party

Drivers will have to detour 83rd Avenue in front of the Peoria Sports Complex as the city hosts its annual P83 Street Party on Saturday, Feb. 23. The street will close at 4 a.m. between Mariners Way and Paradise Lane so staff can prepare the area for the food, drink, and concert bash featuring Mark McGrath and Sugar Ray. The event kicks off the spring training season of the Seattle Mariners and San Diego Padres. The street will remain closed through midnight.
