1/7/2013
On Saturday, January 26th at 8:30a.m a Captains Training Meeting will be held for those interested in finding out more about the program. Organizers will detail what a Block Watch Captain's responsibilities include, and how much work is involved in being a Block Watch Captain. Participants will also learn how to start a successful Block Watch Program in their neighborhood.
The Neighborhood Block Watch program gives residents who participate a greater sense of security by reducing the fear of crime in their community. The program also brings a community together under a common goal and helps neighbors get to know one another.
