Constitution Contest is Back

Peoria students between the ages of five and 18 years old can participate in the city's 12th annual Celebrate the Constitution Contest. They must express their understanding of the United States Constitution and what it means to them either through a poster or essay. Prizes range from Target Store gift cards to a $1,500 college scholarship. Submissions are due to the school district office or the city of Peoria by Tuesday, Oct.16. Winners will be announced at the Nov. 13 City Council meeting. For more information, call 623-773-5133.
