Construction at 83rd Ave. and Pinnacle Peak Rd.
Partial Closures Planned for Intersection Improvements

As part of an intersection improvement project, partial closures of Pinnacle Peak Road at 83rd Avenue will occur in the next two weeks.

On January 15, 2007, at 5:00 am, Pinnacle Peak Road will be closed on the east side of 83rd Avenue. The road will reopen by 5:00 pm on January 20, 2007. Eastbound traffic will have to turn either north or south on 83rd Avenue.

A second closure will begin on January 22, 2007 at 5:00 am, when Pinnacle Peak Road on the west side of 83rd Avenue will be closed. It will reopen by 5:00 pm on January, 27, 2007. Westbound traffic will have to turn either north or south on 83rd Avenue. During this time, it is recommended that motorists use 91st Avenue and Deer Valley Road as alternate routes. The intersection improvement project, which includes widening the intersection and adding a traffic signal, is still on schedule for completion this March.
