City Council Approves Primary Election Results
Two District Seats on November Ballot
9/11/2012

In a motion to make official the results of the Primary Election, Peoria City Council approved the Canvass of Election on Tuesday. This means: Cathy Carlat was elected Councilmember for the Mesquite District for another four-year term; propositions 442, 443, 444, 445, 446, 447, 449, 450 didn't pass; and Proposition 448 will go into effect for councilmembers taking office in 2014- setting a three term-limit for City Council. The Ironwood and Willow districts council seats will be on the Nov. 6 General Election ballot. For more information about elections, visit www.peoriaaz.gov/elections.
