Grand Avenue Improvement Project in Peoria Continues
Narrowed to Two Lanes Between Cotton Crossing and 88th Avenue

ADOT crews will continue making improvements to US 60 (Grand Avenue) focusing on electrical work and constructing a new right turn lane on 71st Avenue. Drivers should expect the following restrictions:
• Westbound US 60 (Grand Avenue) will be narrowed to two lanes between Cotton Crossing and 88th Avenue daily from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday, Aug. 17 for electrical work and fence construction.
• Westbound US 60 (Grand Avenue) will be narrowed to two lanes at 71st Avenue through early September.
The $4.5 million improvement project is scheduled for completion by the end of the year. It includes new pavement, landscaping, lighting and sidewalk improvements between 71st Avenue and Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway).
