City of Peoria invites the community out to enjoy their 29th Annual July 4th All American Festival on Wednesday, July 4th, 2012. Gates open at 5 p.m. There will be plenty of kid friendly activities including Water Zones, Kids Zone, Bounce Houses along with Radio Disney. The Country Zone will feature music by Chevellon, along with activities such as a zip line, mechanical bull, a snow slide with 12 tons of snow and more.

In the "Rock n Roll Zone" Vintage Rocket will perform. To enter the Sonic Foot Long Hot Dog Eating contest, registration is required at www.peoriasportscomplex.com. The winner of this year’s contest will receive free Sonic Footlong Coneys for a year. Check out the F-16 flyover at approximately 7:00 p.m. and watch one of the valley’s best fireworks extravaganza’s at 9:15 p.m.

Gates open at 5pm at Peoria Sports Complex, located at 16101 N. 83rd Ave just south of Bell Rd. Admission is $5 and kids 12 and under are free. Parking is free. Concessions and beer will be available for purchase. Lawn chairs, blankets, coolers with food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted. No alcohol, glass containers, portable canopies, or bicycles are permitted into the event. All activities, except in the Country Zone, are free with admission.
