Peoria's Economic Development Services Department and Glendale Community College Partner to Offer a FREE Small-Business Resource Seminar

Peoria's Economic Development Services Department is hosting a free
small-business seminar from 9:00 am - 11:00 am on June 27, 2012. Join Daniel
Ayala from the AZ Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) as he shares
information about this exciting program.
The AZ PTAC provides free technical assistance in government contracting to
business owners who are ready to realize the opportunities of government
contracting and procurement. Some of the services to be reviewed will be:
Contractor registration and certifications
• Identify contracting opportunities
• Bid-matching services
• Marketing to the government
• Assist in bid preparation
• Assist in contract management and audits
• Identify sub-contracting and teaming opportunities
• Provide seminars and workshops
Daniel Ayala is the Program Manager of AZ PTAC, the Maricopa County Community
College District Small Business Development Center. He is responsible for
planning, management and organization of the program. His duties include
coordinating with regional businesses, industry, small business organizations,
government and media to support the multi-million dollar program. Ayala has
spent much of his career coordinating programs and services that enhance the
quality of life in our community. He has supervised youth and adult sports and
education programs for the City of Phoenix as well as for the Valley of the Sun
YMCA.
