Public Can Review Plans of Two North Peoria Communities

On Wednesday, Aug. 24,
LVA Urban Design LLC will host a public meeting at 6:30 p.m. in the city of
Peoria Pinnacle Peak Public Safety Facility, 23100 N. Lake Pleasant Road, to
provide an overview of the intended development plan and land use/zoning
application recently filed with the city. A General Plan Amendment and a
Rezoning request were submitted for the 4.8-acre site located at the southwest
corner of Lake Pleasant Parkway and Mariposa Grande Road.
On Thursday, Aug. 25, Diamond Venture will host a public meeting at 6 p.m. in
the Sunrise Mountain Library, 21109 N. 98th Avenue, to provide information on
the proposed Saddleback Heights, a 5,296-acre master-planned mixed-use project.
The area is bounded by Highway 74 to the north, the Carefree Highway and Dove
Valley Road alignments to the south, and the 123rd Avenue alignment to the east.
The western boundary of the plan area is near the proposed future alignment of
163rd (Sarival) Avenue. Interested residents unable to attend the meeting can
