Public Can See Loop 303 Addition at May 7 Dedication

Peoria, the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) and the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) have scheduled an event Saturday, May 7, to give people a closer look at part of the new Loop 303 segment northeast of Happy Valley Parkway. The open house and dedication will be from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Gov. Jan Brewer and other dignitaries are expected to attend. The free event will enable families and other community members to bike, walk or jog on the unopened freeway. It also will include activities for kids and booths representing local businesses. ADOT plans to open the new portion of Loop 303 to traffic the following week.
