Car-Seat Inspections Available Jan. 22 at Sports Complex

Peoria, in partnership with Channel 12 and the Safe Kids Coalition of Maricopa County, will inspect car seats for proper installation and child protection on Saturday, Jan. 22, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the Peoria Sports Complex. Nationally, 80 percent of car seats are installed incorrectly, according to Safe Kids International. At last year’s event in Peoria, 92 percent of the vehicles inspected had car seats that were used or installed incorrectly.
