Traffic Restrictions Return to Union Hills Around Loop 101

The Arizona Department of Transportation will be reconstructing the median on Union Hills Drive between the Walmart signal (8250 West) and 79th Avenue in order to complete improvements to Union Hills at the Loop 101. ADOT, along with Peoria and Glendale, delayed this work so that it wouldn’t interfere with the holiday shopping season. Starting Monday, Jan. 3, the restrictions will be similar to those that were in place during the widening of Union Hills. The restrictions are expected to last until the Beardsley Connection U-turn bridge adjacent to Union Hills is completed this spring.
