Dietitians Offer Insights on Kids' Back-to-School Eating

Two registered dietitians from Banner Thunderbird Medical Center will discuss healthy back-to-school eating in a free presentation from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 21, at Rio Vista Recreation Center. Dominica Hollander and Amanda Naylor will offer suggestions on what to put in kids’ school lunches, as well as:

  • Discussion of food groups with recommendations for kids.

  • Tips for getting kids interested in healthy eating.

  • Specific nutrient recommendations for growing kids.

  • Tips for families on healthy eating.

  • Healthy and fun snacks.

  • Food Safety.
