City, State, Retailer Offer Urban Fishing for Families

Rio Vista Recreation Center will host “Reel Fun Fishing” the morning of Saturday, April 17. This family oriented event, co-sponsored by the Arizona Game and Fish Department and Cabela’s, will run from 8 a.m. to noon. No fishing license is required; rods, tackle and bait will be provided. In addition, the Phoenix Herpetological Society will have reptiles on display. A $4 per person registration fee includes a continental breakfast. Pre-registration is encouraged, as space is limited.
