Peoria Updates Residents on Planned Trail Segment

City recreation officials have scheduled a follow-up public meeting to update nearby residents on plans to build a segment of the New River Trail between Bell Road and Union Hills Drive. The meeting will be Wednesday, April 7, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Apache Elementary School, 8633 W. John Cabot Road. Officials will detail where the proposed path lies in relation to the boundary wall/fence and how the design has achieved some of the goals residents requested at an earlier public meeting in November 2009.
