City Seeks Public Input on Transit Options

Peoria is hosting two open houses to exchange ideas, concerns and questions regarding the city's transportation plans. The informal sessions will be Tuesday, April 13, at 6 p.m. in the City Hall Pine Room and Wednesday, April 14, at 6 p.m. in the Community Room of Sunrise Mountain Library, 21109 N. 98th Ave. The meetings will highlight potential transit-oriented development, including transit station site plan options for Oldtown; draft policy for bus stop facilities and bus stop art; and short-term local transit options.
