Peoria Leadership Institute Seeks Participants
Residents Have Opportunity to Go Inside the Workings of City Hall

PEORIA, Ariz. (March 29, 2010) – The City of Peoria invites residents to sign up for Peoria Leadership Institute, a seven-week program that takes the public behind the scenes of municipal government.

City staff will be on-hand at each session to cover, in detail, how services are provided to residents. Participants will have the opportunity to hear real 911 calls; step inside the large machinery used on city streets; and have access to city facilities that are otherwise not open to the public.

Classes are held on Wednesdays, beginning April 28, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The program and meals are provided free of charge to Peoria residents.
