Peoria Can Help Homeowners Pay for Emergency Repairs

The city can assist
Peoria homeowners whose dwellings are in need of emergency repair. The Emergency
Home Repair Program responds to impending health or safety hazards, threats of
physical danger and structural damage. It can pay up to $20,000 for emergency
electrical, mechanical, plumbing or roofing work. The program is aimed at low-
to moderate-income residents who own and occupy a home in Peoria. Applicants are
subject to income caps ranging from $36,900 for a household of one to $56,900
for a household of five. For more information or an application, stop by the
