Sports Complex Hosts Spring Training 'Dog Day' March 8
Event Will Raise Money for Arizona Humane Society

PEORIA, Ariz. (March 2, 2010) -- The Peoria Sports Complex is teaming up with the Arizona Humane Society to bring you Dog Day at the ballpark on Monday, March 8. This special event presents a wonderful opportunity for dog lovers and fans of baseball to bring their pets to Peoria Sports Complex, enjoy a relaxing afternoon on the lawn and help raise money to benefit the Arizona Humane Society -- which will have staff and dogs on-site for pet adoptions.

The baseball game featuring the San Diego Padres vs. the Colorado Rockies will start at 1:05 p.m. Gates open at 11:30 am. Price of admission for individuals is $6 for a lawn seat and $4 per dog. Dog Day participants must visit Gate C to purchase their game day tickets and fill out a waiver form. A portion of the proceeds raised will go to support the Arizona Humane Society.
